The Raptor Rescue Society is a non-profit wildlife rehabilitation centre located in the Cowichan Valley. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing wild raptors and other birds from all over lower Vancouver Island. This includes eagles, hawks, falcons and owls as well as vultures and corvids (crows and ravens). Our rehab team is passionate about giving every patient the best treatment possible for recovery and release. Our emergency call line is open 7 days a week, usually from 08:00 – 20:00. The goals of the RRS include rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing injured wildlife (specifically birds), educating the public on raptors and reducing wildlife conflict.

The Raptors is a birds of prey facility dedicated to educating the public and conducting wildlife management. They work mostly with birds raised in human care, but do house a small population of wild disabled birds who act as ambassadors for their species. You can visit their education center to meet these spectacular birds up close and personal.
